Milpitas epoxy floor coatings
Yes, we pour floors in Milpitas
Milpitas is where the South Bay turns into the East Bay. The Great Mall sits by the freeway junction, the BART line ends here, Ed Levin County Park climbs the hills on the east side, and the flat land between 880 and the hills is full of manufacturing, distribution and tech buildings. It is a straight run up 680 or 880 from our base in San Jose, CA.
That mix gives us two kinds of work. Home garages in the tracts off Calaveras and Jacklin, most of them newer slabs with a trowel finish that paint cannot grip. And commercial floors along the freeways that need a heavier build and a schedule that keeps the doors open. Both come through our commercial floor work and our garage installs every month.
What a Milpitas slab is actually up against
On the commercial side, wheels and chemicals. Forklifts, pallet jacks and carts wear a bare slab down and a thin coating off, and a nightly degreaser finishes the job. A warehouse floor here gets a thicker base coat, a topcoat rated for wheels, and grip in the finish. The work runs in sections or overnight so the shift keeps going.
On the home side, it is newer concrete. Tract garages from the 1980s onward were finished smooth with a steel trowel, which is exactly the surface paint slides off. The diamond grinder opens it up so the coating can lock in, and a polyaspartic topcoat handles the hot tires coming off 880.
What we handle here
Floors we pour in Milpitas
Flake and Solid Garage Floors
The job Milpitas asks for most: a gray slab that has been catching oil, dust and tire marks for years. We grind it back to open concrete, fill the cracks, roll the base coat and seal it under a polyaspartic topcoat. Here is garage floors done properly.
Hand Poured Metallic Floors
The floor Josh is known for. Reflective pigment moved by hand through wet resin, so the floor has veins and movement and never repeats. Entries, studios, showrooms and show garages in Milpitas. See how a metallic pour works.
Rooms Inside the House
Studios, gyms, laundry rooms, mud rooms and converted garages on a slab. The old floor comes up, the slab gets ground, and a sealed coating goes down that you can live on. Same build we use on floors inside the home.
Shop, Studio and Warehouse Floors
Milpitas businesses run on floors that take carts, boots and spills all day. A coated floor stands up to that and cuts the cleaning down to a mop, and we work around your opening hours. Have a look at our commercial page.
Why Milpitas calls us
Why Milpitas homeowners call Josh
Joshua Rodriguez owns this business and does every estimate himself. On a commercial job he walks the floor with you, works out which zones can close when, and writes the sequence into the estimate. On a garage he looks at the slab and tells you what it needs.
He is honest about the limits of the trade. A slab that is heaving or breaking up needs a different trade first, and he will say so rather than coat over it.
Where you will find us around Milpitas
The Great Mall and the transit center sit at the freeway junction, and the tracts run east from there along Calaveras Boulevard and Jacklin Road toward the hills and Ed Levin Park. The industrial floors are on the flat side, between 880 and the McCarthy Ranch area along 237.
Tract garages here are newer and flatter than the ones in central San Jose. The warehouses are big, hard used slabs. Different scale, same rule: open the concrete with a diamond grind, then build the floor into it.

Straight answers about your epoxy floor questions
Do you actually come into Milpitas?
Yes. It is about fifteen minutes from our San Jose base up 680 or 880. Send the form and Josh will set a time to look at the floor.
Can you coat a warehouse floor without stopping our shifts?
Usually. The floor is split into zones and each one is ground, coated and cured while the rest keeps working, or the work runs overnight. Josh writes the sequence into the estimate.
Does an epoxy floor handle forklifts?
With the right build, yes. Warehouse floors get a thicker system and a topcoat rated for wheels, oil and cleaning chemicals. Tell us what the floor takes and it gets built for that.
Do you fix cracked or sunken concrete in Milpitas?
No. Josh coats and pours over sound concrete, he does not repair it. If a slab needs structural work, get that sorted first and then we can talk about a finish.
How long is my Milpitas garage out of use?
One to three days depending on the finish. A flake floor is usually one to two, a metallic pour two to three. You get the dates in writing before the grinder shows up in Milpitas.
Can the floor match our brand colors?
Yes. Solid colors, flake blends and metallic pigments can all be matched to a palette. Josh brings samples to your Milpitas space so you approve the color in your own lighting.
