Santa Clara epoxy floor coatings
Yes, we pour floors in Santa Clara
Santa Clara is home to about 127,000 people, Santa Clara University, Levi's Stadium and a stretch of the biggest chip and software campuses in the world. It shares a border with San Jose, so most of the city is fifteen minutes from the San Jose shop on 101, 280 or San Tomas Expressway.
The housing is mostly post war ranch homes and mid century tracts, which means a two car garage on a slab poured sixty years ago. That concrete is dense and sound, and it is also stained, dusty and never coated. Both problems are fixed the same way in our garage floor coating work: grind it open first, then build the floor.
What a Santa Clara slab is actually up against
Start with age. A garage slab from 1960 has had six decades of oil drips, brake dust and tire grit soak into its pores, and the surface has powdered down a little every year. Paint rolled over it in the eighties is usually still there in patches. All of that comes off with the diamond grinder before we do anything else, because a coating is only as good as what it is stuck to.
Then there is the way the garage gets used. In Santa Clara it is a workshop, a gym, a home office overflow and a place to park a car that came home hot off 101. Hot tire pickup lifts thin coatings in patches as the tires cool. A floor ground into open concrete and sealed under a polyaspartic topcoat does not do that.
What we handle here
Floors we pour in Santa Clara
Flake and Solid Garage Floors
The job Santa Clara asks for most: a gray slab that has been catching oil, dust and tire marks for years. We grind it back to open concrete, fill the cracks, roll the base coat and seal it under a polyaspartic topcoat. Here is how we build a garage floor.
Hand Poured Metallic Floors
The floor Josh is known for. Reflective pigment moved by hand through wet resin, so the floor has veins and movement and never repeats. Entries, studios, showrooms and show garages in Santa Clara. See the metallic floors we pour.
Rooms Inside the House
Studios, gyms, laundry rooms, mud rooms and converted garages on a slab. The old floor comes up, the slab gets ground, and a sealed coating goes down that you can live on. Same build we use on a floor inside a house.
Shop, Studio and Warehouse Floors
Santa Clara businesses run on floors that take carts, boots and spills all day. A coated floor stands up to that and cuts the cleaning down to a mop, and we work around your opening hours. Have a look at our commercial floor work.
Why Santa Clara calls us
Why Santa Clara homeowners call Josh
Joshua Rodriguez owns this business and does every estimate himself. He looks at your concrete, tells you what it needs, then he is the one who grinds it and pours it. Nothing is handed to a stranger, and you are not chasing a call center about your own floor.
He is honest about the limits of the trade. If your slab is heaving or breaking up he will say so rather than coat over it. What he cares about is the part you never see once the floor is down: the grinding, the crack fill and the moisture check.
Where you will find us around Santa Clara
El Camino Real is the spine of the city, and the neighborhoods either side of it, from the Old Quad around the university out to the tracts near Pruneridge and Homestead, are where most of our Santa Clara garages are. North of 101 it is Levi's Stadium, Great America and the campuses along Tasman and Mission College Boulevard, which is where the commercial floors are.
Old Quad slabs have real age on them. The newer condos and townhomes near the stadium are flat builder slabs with a steel trowel finish that paint cannot grip. Different eras of concrete, same approach: grind it and read what it tells us.
Where we work
Pouring metallic, flake and commercial floors across Santa Clara
We cover the whole city, from the Old Quad and the university out to the stadium and the campuses along Tasman. The same truck runs west to floor coatings in Sunnyvale, south to Campbell garages and northeast to Milpitas.

Straight answers about your epoxy floor questions
Do you actually come into Santa Clara?
All the time. The city borders San Jose, and most of it is fifteen minutes from our base. Send the form and Josh will set a time to look at the slab.
My garage floor has sixty years of oil on it. Can you still coat it?
Yes. Old oil sits in the top of the concrete, and the diamond grinder takes that layer off. Once the slab is open and clean, the coating bonds to fresh concrete.
Why did my last garage floor coating peel off?
Usually because the concrete was never ground open, so the coating sat on the surface, or moisture was pushing up through the slab. Grinding first and checking for moisture stops it happening twice.
Do you fix cracked or sunken concrete in Santa Clara?
No, and you will hear that straight away. Josh coats and pours over sound concrete, he does not repair it. If a slab needs structural work, get that sorted first and then we can talk about a finish.
How long is my Santa Clara garage out of use?
One to three days depending on the finish. A flake floor is usually one to two, a metallic pour two to three. You get the dates in writing before the grinder shows up in Santa Clara.
Can you match a color to the house?
Yes. Flake comes in different blends and chip sizes, and metallic is mixed to the colors you want. Josh brings samples out to your Santa Clara home so you are choosing off something real, not a screen.
